Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | I have my share of mud up here. It becomes a major management issue - dogs, floors, lawn...laundry. Did I say laundry? and more laundry? Takes a lot of towels to cope with a muddy wooly - and yours looks to be as wooly as Ami! |

| For some reason... I have been lucky with mud I guess? Every time we go anywhere during mud season... Okami plops herself right in the mud puddles. Identical to your boy in the top picture lol. However.. I do towel her off before we get into the car, but that doesn't really help matters.. the only thing that helps me is that I have a waterproof car seat cover in the back so she doesn't get the car all messy. By the time the day is over though, she never looks like she took a step in the mud, it all just dries up and falls off.. I never have had to give her a bath or wash her off... I don't get it. She doesn't excessively lick her self or clean her self, and the mud is always literally no where to be found. It's like it just vanishes! I am not complaining though lol. |

Exactly I call him the magical self-cleaning genie. |

| Now, if only the floors were so...that's where the laundry comes in. Ami won't stand still to have his paws dried off - and when I tried to teach him to step into a bucket water, well, that's another story So, temporarily, it's towels all over the laundry room floor and having him walk back and forth until he no longer leaves footprints... |

He kept acting like he was supposed to drink it... every time I would lift a paw and try to put it in the pail,, he would look at me as of I had lost my marbles. I could almost hear him..."what is the matter with you woman?!!?" It was seriously the funniest expression I've ever seen on his face. I'm guessing my laughing fit didn't help matters |

| My backyard turns into an absolute mud pit every time it rains. We seriously have an enormous (unintended) pond in our yard right now. If I can figure out how to post pics I will show you. My biggest life saver has been this rug called the dirty dog door mat. I bought it on Amazon and I swear my dogs only have to sit on it for 5 seconds and it sucks all the moisture and mud out of their paws. We also use it to step on when we are wet and muddy from taking them in and out. It is the best. I have zero carpet downstairs (husky hair, your know) but when it would rain my entire downstairs would be covered in paw prints, and this as completely solved the problem. I swear I love it. |
