2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Hey ya'll! We are looking to add a female to our pack and are looking for a splash/piebald girl. We are located in Colorado but are willing to travel a decent distance or have someone ship. We aren't in a hurry, looking for our perfect girl. Let me know who you recommend  Very Happy

Hi and welcome. Reputable breeders of splash coat and piebald pups are hard to find, but I think the best place to start would be some of the kennels more geared toward working and racing Siberians. There is a breeder in Maine that just had a litter and has a very adorable splash coat available from that litter, Kennedy Sleddogs. There are several members of the forum that have dogs from that breeder. Smile

Here is another working kennel in Maryland that is expecting a couple of litters that may have piebald/splash coat pups.

One of the forum members most active in both the show and working siberian communities is Huskymom09 (Lani). She is on the west coast, but may be able to suggest some working kennels closer to Colorado. Send her a pm and she should be able to make some suggestions. Smile

How many are in your current pack?

Jen gave you some good places to get started.

Keep in mind though that a reputable breeder will not place a dog in a home based solely on coat color/eye color/other aesthetics. Their goal is to make sure that the right puppy goes to the right home. Preferences do come into account, but you may find it is a touchy area with some breeders, especially with Siberians because there are so many people out there that just want a “blue eyed dog” or other purely aesthetic qualities.

Just saying to keep an open mind. It’s fine to have preferences but the perfect dog for you might be out there and might not look exactly how you were picturing in your head.
