My new Siberian Husky puppy stormy is really cuddly. She cries when I put her down and is always overly happy to see me. She cries and gets upset when I put her down and insists on being in my lap. From what i've read huskies arent supposed to be cuddly nor are they supposed to be companions. Does anyone else have a dog or puppy like this?

My Loki is more cuddly then my lab at times. Go figure. He actually got more cuddly as he has gotten older. He is over a year now and likes to sit on me, next to me, close to me. If I take a shower or go to the bathroom, more times then not he will be at the door when I get out. He follows me upstairs if I go upstairs. I notice the later it gets, the more he wants the cuddle until we go to sleep. When he sleeps, it seems part of him has to touch part of me or he is not happy and will readjust.

Same for me! Meg always needs to be sitting on me or have atleast a part of her touching me. She's a 50lb lap dog :/ I've had Malimuts in the past that never did this so it has been strange. My husky is a rescue though so she might have spent alot of her time alone or in a crate which might answer why.
