Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

Today Tala has come to work with me! I work in an office, with 10-12 people. If she is good today, she will have the right to come often.. and this would be great, because there is a group of people that run with their dogs after work. I don't have time to go back home, get the dog and come back.. the only way I can attend is to bring my dog at work So.. I am crossing my fingers and hoping she won't poo anywhere, won't eat garbage and won't howl for the next 4 hours.. then we'll take a long walk at lunch time! Do you bring your dogs to work? We have started that when Cesar Milan talked about Dog at work day. Our bosses agreed to let everyone bring their dogs and it was a success, so since then, good dogs are allowed at work. I think it is an AWESOME privilege Here is Tala, proudly sitting in my place:

No, I didn't bring a bone I am in an room with 4 other people and we speak on the phone most of the time, I thought the bone chewing would be distracting. I brought her rope, but she doesn't play. She just lays down and does nothing at all, expect follow me if I go to the bathroom or go ask a question to someone in another room! She is calmer than I could ever imagine she would be. Everyone appreciates her, up to now she had behaved perfectly!

Looks like so much fun! Ninety percent of the time I work at home but in May I'll be working for three weeks out of a video production office in an apartment-style hotel room that is dog-friendly, and the producers have said it's OK to bring Layla, so I'm psyched for the opportunity to bring her but at the same time I'm crossing my fingers she'll be on her best behavior, haha. A couple days a week, though, I may bring her to daycare if it looks like she'll need a little extra tiring out.

Thats really great! I wish I could bring Kylah to work, but I work in a large factory, so I know that will never happen.

Wow what a nice office! When I dispatched trains our work area was nothing compared to what you have. Your dog Tala looks so at home in your chair, hopefully the "calm" doesn't wear off as she becomes more familiar with the new surroundings. Jen, I love Dizzy at the window!

That is awesome! Is that quite popular (or starting in a trend) in state that you can bring your fur baby to work?
