Just got Kylah her first bully stick after reading that a lot of people use them. She hasn't stopped chewing since I gave it to her!
Just curious, how long on average does it take your dog to get through one of these?

Same here. I gave Layla one yesterday. It was on the thinner side but it was also 12 inches and she got through it in about an hour. Gave me some extra time to catch up on work, though, haha.

I've been hesitant to give her bully sticks for a while now because last time she had one a couple months ago, she swallowed the last inch whole and I think it caused her to throw up her breakfast the next day. Luckily that was the worst thing that happened, since she was fine afterward and passed the bully stick with no issue. So far no problems with the one we gave her yesterday, either.

Kai loves bully sticks and we've been giving them to her since she was younger. It's tough to say how long it takes her to finish them because she buries them throughout the apartment for later use. She will chew on one for a while, bury it and revisit it later on. If she commits to chewing one, I'd estimate about an hour.

Id like to try ordering them from bestbully, I paid 8.99 for a 12 in one at the pet store, which seemed steep to me.

That IS expensive for one 12-inch bully stick! Was it made from kobe beef? Razz

I just ordered for the first time from bestbully the other day and paid about $25 for seven bully sticks, two of which were braids that went for about $3.50 to $4 each. Not a bad deal! If you have a Pet Supplies Plus in your area, they have some pretty decent prices for bully sticks as well.

yeah, we have upgrades to the 36inch ones- seem to last a day and half or so, and they have to have to be the ones that have an odor, or she will not touch em.

Yeah I guess it was a true chews natural beef bully stick from petsmart. I wasn't sure what I was really looking for so I just grabbed the one that was natural and made in the USA. But it still seems like I way overpaid.

Good call on looking for bully sticks made in the USA. But, yes, $8.99 is still a lot for one bully stick, even if it is made in the U.S.! Redbarn has a big line of bully sticks that are all made in the U.S. but I think even they don't cost that much.
