| I have been feeding my female pup (8 months old) Blue Buffalo Wilderness Puppy since we've had her. A few months ago, I started giving her a treat dispensing ball with the dinner in it however while eating and chasing the ball, she would pee. She is house trained and didn't have any accidents when I used treats. I thought possibly her moving around stimulated the peeing so I switched to a Kong Wobbler but 5 minutes into it, she peed again. I tried the Wobbler with normal treats and biscuits and she was fine. So my question is, has anyone elses husky process it's food that quickly that excessive movement causes peeing? Normally, during play time if she has to pee she will stop and go to the door. However, I think she has such a food drive that taking a break from dinner to go pee is not first priority. |

| Why don't you just stop using the treat ball? |

| We have. We only started using the treat ball with treats. I just found it odd that I can't try to prolong her dinner time with something fun. She inhales her bowl of food in 30 seconds. |

| You could do training and make her work for her dinner. |

| I'm assuming you feed kibble because of the ball??
Well you can hand feed her as well, which will both teach her patience and further reinforce her bond and emotional connection to you. The ball is not necessary at all and if it really is the source of such trouble just eliminate it. Set her up for success. |
