I was reading a article that said huskies act the worst between 12-18 months. I thought though it was more 6-12 months or 6-18. Just curious what others think so I can be prepared if he is going to start acting up a lot in a few months.

Just make sure they get the proper amount of exercise, that's the only cure for high energy Levels. I definitely notice the difference on days on I run/hike and take her to the dog park, rather then days I don't exercise her. I tired pup is the best pup. Arya becomes really destructive on days with no exercise, has destroyed dry wall, and the door to my bedroom, even managed to pull the zipper off my snowboard jacket. But I wouldn't trade her for anything.

I noticed Lycus was at his worst from about 8 months up until he was almost 2. He's definitely a lot calmer now.

I remember reading that generally their rebellious phase was from around 8-18 months, of course I don't have any personal experience to back up these claims.

Right now. Lol. We bike, we walk 3 miles (not always on the same day), we play games, etc. Nothing curbs him. He constantly wants attention and everything. We just went biking for about 20 minutes and he's still bugging me. I'll take him again and then for a walk. Tomorrow we are going to try the dog park and see if that works. _________________

Once spring hits and vet gives all clear he is good to run we plan to replace his walks with running and biking. Also in the yard I will add back frisbee to his current playing with my other dog and fetch. Hopefully that helps keep him manageable as he gets older. Otherwise we will probably enroll him in daycare too 1-2 days per week.
