So is Sheba. I told her if she doesn't hurry up she will be naked when the snow comes. However, it has been a SUPER mild winter with only one snow, and Sheba has never actually blown her coat before, but the fluffies are all the way up to her shoulders; so I think this time it's for real!!

Have you had any warm stretches of weather? Our weather has recently been bouncing all over place and our friend's husky started to blow his coat a few weeks ago as well. Maybe rapid changes in temperatures triggered it?

Our weather hasn't been too bad for the most part. We've had a couple huge jumps (from below freezing to 70 degrees), but overall it's been consistent. Dogs don't blow their coats consistently. Sheba's blowing schedule as always been super weird. Pretty sure she half way blew her puppy coat like three times lol. She's 19 months old and this will be her first REAL blow. I'm sure the crazy weather probably has something to do with the delay; but I've seen loads of pictures on a bunch of Siberian groups on Facebook with Sibes from all over blowing their coats.

We've bounced around a lot recently, currently its -5C last week -39C at one point with the windchill. Not sure if temperature changes would do it - but just throwing it out there. Our friend's Sibe blew his coat in the fall as usual, and a few weeks ago was blowing it again. I'm curious what else could trigger it  Question

Could easily be wrong, but doesn't living indoors change the way coat blow happens?

Our weather has been crazy this year, going from freezing snowing to days like yesterday when it's very warm t-shirt weather. Hayden has been on/off blowing his coat since August. I'm seriously surprised he's not bald! I'm so ready for it to be over, but by the time it is, it'll be Spring and ready to blow all over again!  Blowing coat in December...seriously??? 1625187496

Mishka started blowing his coat in November and he's not even a year old yet. He's still blowing a bit, but we live in the south so the weather is a lot more mild than most places.
