I gave him chicken quarters is there any reason he would have diarrhea or is it just do to the sudden change in food ? Maybe i gave him too much ? Ive read that ig might be due to not giving him enough bone ?

How big is the dog and how much did you feed?

What brand? Did it have sodium in it? Sometimes added sodium can upset the stomach.

His 4 months on the 15th about 23 pounds , i dont remember the brand unfortunetly and a friend who feeds her dogs raw told me he should be eating about 1.5 lbs a day

Its most likely from the food change. Chicken quarters are about 30% bone so he is probably getting enough. Anya is raw fed and still gets occasional diarrhea, but it was way worse in the beginning when she was a pup. I started making her bone broth lately which seems to really help with her digestion. It might seem like a lot of work, but its actually very easy. The bonus is you get to use it too for recipes that call for broth. Sometimes I drink it by itself in a mug for extra immunity. It tastes like chicken noodle soup

Canned pumpkin helps. 1 tbsp with every meal should help. I heard slippery elm helps, but I've never tried it myself.
