I have a 7 month old Siberian husky named Diva that we have had since she was 5 weeks old. Couple questions, what age do they get all their adult teeth??

I've noticed for the past couple days she has started to act like it hurts to chew her puppy food. I know she lost her front teeth a couple months back, but could her back teeth be coming in and causing her pain??

Also, how to you control ALL THE HAIR!?! She is the sweetest thing BUT OMG!! the HAIR is everywhere! HELP!!!

Simple: you do not control the hair. You eventually just need to give in and accept it because its not going anywhere. If you would like to live your life vacuuming every day all day you might stand a chance, but other than that its just something that comes along with the territory of having a husky. Its a lot easier to just get used to it then fight I've found .

As far as the teeth, I'm not really sure as I just can't remember when mine had all of their adult teeth. But if they seem like they are hurting her, add some warm water to her food to soften the food a little bit, and it will be easier on her teeth!

Just ware the hair lol. For teeth, i think koda was done teething by then, but i dont remember. Could it be possible she is getting bored with the food maybe?

Most dogs begin getting all their adult teeth around six or seven months, so it's very likely the pain from eating could be because of teething. Mix in a little water into her food and let it sit for a minute before serving it to her and the kibble will soften and be much more comfortable for her to eat. Also, I'd give her a toy to gnaw on like a rope toy or a Nylabone, as teething often causes dogs to want to chew a LOT, and better it be a toy than your furniture! A frozen wet washcloth is even better because it's cold and helps numb the pain while giving them something to chew on. Don't let her keep it if it thaws and she has a tendency to rip things to shreds, though!

As for the hair, huskies have a double coat that they shed once or twice a year. This is called "blowing" their coat. They basically shed one coat and a new one grows in underneath. Other double-coated dogs like Corgis do this too. It's easier to manage the hair if you brush your dog every day while they are blowing their coat. It will help the hair to come out in a more controlled way, and it's even more helpful if you do the brushing outdoors so you don't have to clean up; it will just blow away with the wind. The hair will sometimes shed in clumps that you can just pull out. Other than that, I hope you have a good vacuum! Some husky owners vacuum every day while their dogs are blowing their coats.

Thanks for the advice, I have been adding a bit of water to her food and does seam to help. She has been really chewing on the chew toys more lately. How would I know if she is getting bored with her food?? She doesn't get table food, other than the peanut butter we put inside a couple of her chew toys.

She plays and acts completely normal and is drinking and "going to the bathroom" with out any problems. She does love to eat ice cubes and has been running to the fridge when she hears it being used. We put the Christmas tree up tonight, now to keep her out of it! LOL!
