Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Exhausted Dog after Day Care. Empty
PostSubject: Exhausted Dog after Day Care.   Exhausted Dog after Day Care. EmptyMon Nov 04, 2013 4:08 pm

So I went to Youmacon in Detroit November 1st-3rd, and I had Okami boarded at a pet day care center since October 31st and picked her up yesterday at about 1pm.

They are an extremely GREAT place for boarding pets, they have separate suits for the dogs and you can choose whether if you want a privet pet run attached to the room, and what size the room is. (They also board cats)

They have a person exercise your animal multiple times through out the day in one of four of their large play areas. They have a living room set up so your dog or cat can lounge on couches and watch tv or chew on toys. All in all I am really happy with this place.

When I picked up Okami, she barely recognized me until she got up close, then quickly changed to, "MOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOM! I MISSED YOU!"

Then unusually in the car she was laying down and wanting to sleep. Usually she is up in our face trying to get up front. The rest of the day all she wanted to do is sleep.

Today, all she wants to do is sleep. She is listening on first commands..... it is like something out of the damned twilight zone!

*So pleased!* I love you Like a Star @ heaven Sleep santa

Just thought I would say something about it, because I didn't think when I went to go get her I was going to be able to relax after my mini vacation, even though I was walking all day everyday in a cosplay... either way.. I thought she was going to be her usual crazy self (I love it though) but this daycare provided me the comfort of relaxing because she was worn out!
