| I have the flat out leash and collar and love them both! However koda has a new bad habbit of biting the leash on walks that im getting a llittle frustrated with. Soo im gonna get a chain leash and make some adjustment to it i think. I love how the flat out has the clip on the handle and i love the clip thay goes to his collar also. So i think im going to some how try and mix a chain leash with a flat out leash i have one that koda chewed threw when he was a puppy. I hope it works. |

| I used a lupine combo collar (their version of martingale) because Kaia often tried to back out of her collar. It worked well. I had the pink puppy love when she was little then I traded it in (which they let you do) and I got the turtle reef, I also have the retired pattern "flower power". I use the combo collars in places I think she may try to back away from something, I have a clip collar for in the house cuz I tend to take her collar off in the house and the combos are sometimes hard to get over her head cuz they have to be loosened (kinda just a pain in the ass). So in other words I spend a lot of money on collars I don't always need because I find new ones I like and can't resist myself lol! |

| Aiden, I just noticed your join date is in 2009. Have you been on here since you were 11? If so, that's pretty cool. |

I'm the same way I also have Flower Power, although its not retired at the moment since they brought it back. For Cloud I got Wet Paint and Turtle Reef, Yuki has Rain Song, Plum Blossom, and Flower Power, and Link has Mud Puppy, Bling Bonz, and Shadow Hunter. I personally get the buckle collars since I often use their WYDWL harness when I walk them, but I also have half-checks for when the occasional rises and I agree the combo collars are pretty fab. |

Haha I wish! There's an age restriction on this forum and I would normally be too young to join, so I had to contact the admins directly and ask for permission. Although this username (I'm still not exactly sure why I wanted it, I normally go by another name on most forums) was already taken by some member who joined in 2009 but never posted at all. So instead of removing the account they just changed up the password and birth date for me. My real join date is 4/26/2013, but it's fun to "trick" new members into thinking I'm some old sage. xD |

| Karli is still wearing the collar my hubby got her as a puppy. Her neck is so tiny, its ridiculous!!! - Quote :

Does Koda know "drop it"? Karli used to grab the leash as a puppy and I nipped that in the butt quickly by telling her to drop it. Worked well and she doesn't grab it at all anymore. |

| I like Dash better but my wife and I stick with Alaskan names for our dogs. Our 2 Huskies are Denali and Kodiak. |

| Ah very interesting! I probably would've settled with Dash over Chrome since my family didn't like that name and I was indifferent, but I decided to go with Yukon instead as that name seems more appealing than the other two for me. (Ironically I made that decision several hours after putting up the poll thinking I had it down to two choices. How embarrassing is that? ) |

| Yay, they're updated! I have to say I think Dash is my favorite, but I would take Apollo in a second. I love how he has little black spots over both eyes. I hope I can say hi to them today when we go up to get Layla! |

| Yup just a few more weeks now, I hope that I can hold out! I also hope that you can see them Liz, although no one has actually put a deposit down on the piebald puppies yet. It's kind of almost sad. |

| Liz- I said the same thing about Apollo!! I'm not really a fan of piebalds but he is adorable. Starbuck looks like caoimhe's twin! Yukon is so fluffy and cute! I want to play with all the puppies |

| They're so fun to play with when they're all romping around with mom in the puppy kennel around four or five weeks old. We went to visit Layla when she was a day away from turning five weeks, and it was really fun. I'm afraid I'm going to be tempted to put a deposit down on Apollo, haha, but I have to keep reminding myself how much of a handful we'll have just with Layla! |

| Haha! Rachel got another female from Maureen @ Kryska (she's seriously downsizing) who is red, and I said to Pete "if she breeds Kenzie to trigger or Kermit and has red pups in the spring, we are getting one, I don't care!" He was like ooh ok. Lol |

| Aww poor piebalds! I think they're adorable (although id have a hard time saying any puppy especially husky isn't adorable) lol. Rachel's really increasing her kennel size, good for her and I'm glad she can help Maureen out she's gotta downsize and she has so many dogs. Anyone looking for another? Kryska siberians has a lot to chose from |

| OK, just got back. Layla is the cutest thing since sliced bread. She was SO good in the car, fell right asleep on my lap, and went pee right when she got out. She was great getting her collar put on, didn't fidget at all, just let me put it on her (she'd never had one on before). We fed her in her crate and she seems to be getting used to it, going in and out of it, exploring. After she ate we took her out again and she went again.
She did get a chance to see her sister, brother and mom before we left Rachel's, since we took a toy with us that we got their scent on. Not sure if it'll work or not but Layla seems to like the toy. It's this funny little stuffed squeaky eggplant (yes, an eggplant) that I got at Ocean State Job Lot.
Pictures and video are coming very soon! |

| Now, about the other pups: I didn't know that Rachel was getting another female from Maureen. Good for her! I'm so with you, Cortnie, about the reds. I'm so going to get one if Rachel has a red litter in the next few years!
I got a quick glimpse at Arrow and her pups before we left. They came out and were running around a little bit as it got dark. I feel bad for the piebalds, too! I'm not a huge fan but I'd take one in a flash if we could! |
