I have tried everything!!!!!!
Okami won't sing! I have tried howling like a wolf or making husky like noises, or barking with her to induce prolonged howls... I put youtube videos on of huskies singing or howling/talking.... nothing! I even just got my harmonica's in the mail today! She just looks at me like I am stupid.

Any advice?

I wonder if they don't all do it? Or my Keeara is just too young because Selena has always howled me tunes especially when I come home from leaving her but I have yet to hear Keeara howl once!

i know Tori got her 2 to sing by accident, seems the smoke detectors in the house went off and they sung to that!

Now that you say that, I accidentally set my car alarm off the other day and Selena was going crazy!

hmmm maybe I will see if loud alarms work then lol thanks! Any other suggestions are welcomed I want to try everything!

fire truck or ambulance sirens make my old dog sing but does nothing for Kenzi. She's never howled or anything of the sort. The rare bark and she "talks" when she's scratching her back, but that's just the prolonged grunt. She's very quiet.

Smoke detector works on Lucian. Sirens don't bother him one bit, or other dogs howling. Only other thing that gets him to do it is my alarm. He would hear it when he was a pup, and knew it was time for me to get up and get him breakfast, so he woos at it if it goes off for a few minutes.

I can't get my pup to sing either. She has days when she quiet and days when she'll talk your ear off. On her talkative days, she'll let out most of her woo woos in the morning when she does her stretches and when we're getting ready to make her breakfast. She'll give me another ear full when I get home from work.

Loki will howl to a video of himself as a puppy.

bahaha i love the videos. kiba has only made a husky noise when i tell her to "Go kennel". she sometimes back talks me and gives a rooorooo but its so rare. i mean she's probably done it about five times in the year ive owned her.

My little Nikita howled the first day we brought her home. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. She is now eight months and has never done it again. We too have tried howling and putting on videos. She looks at me like I am crazy and walks out.
