| Huskies are known for playing rough, I'm not sure there is anything you can to do make him "play nice." The best you can hope for is he learns to listen to other dogs. If you see another dog giving clear signs that he does not want to play rough, you need to help enforce it. I try to pick Sirmiq's playmates carefully, because I know he does play rough and some dogs don't like it. There was a poodle mix in our doggie classes that wanted my 2 to chase him, but when my 2 caught up to him the poodle didn't like what they did. So I kept them leashed, so I could grab the leash and rein them in when I needed to. It is important that you help enforce other dogs when they say enough. You don't want the other dog to feel like they have to take matters into their own hands (err should I say paws). It can cause aggression in dogs if they do. |

| Hey Thanks! Its just scary cause he tends to nip a little. I wouldn't want any other dogs to get hurt. We have recently joined a Husky rescue group and our future goal is to house Huskies that are in need of homes. We have been relutant to do so becasue of Pharaoh's rough play. |

| Don't worry about that- other huskies will understand Koda can't play with any dog other than his box/rottie girlfriend or other huskies. Other dogs just don't understand how they like to play. However, I would still follow Jen's and other's advice on socializing. |

| Yeh Husky play seems only really be understood by other Huskies and other breeds that play rough too. Sometimes it can look really brutal and scary teeth bared and everything but they are having a ball This is my two playing. Dino is 18 months and Ava 11 weeks. 5 mins after playtime is over! |

| My huskies play very rough and they're very vocal. They seem to know who to play with at the dog park. Sometimes another dog will take it the wrong way and start to get aggressive and then I'll intervene, but usually it works out on its own.
I have a problem with adult fosters - Denali likes other dogs in the park, and even at home, as long as they just visit and don't stay there. He becomes very protective of his "things" (which to him is every single thing in the house) and it takes a few days before he'll accept the foster. Puppies he's ok with, so I try to take them in more often. |

| I'm not sure how pharaoh would react to other dogs in the home. He loves attention and typically sings if he is not getting it. I'm not sure how he would reacted to not being the center of it. He typically gets very upset if Bennymigs or myself touch another dog and he is especially protective of his daddy (Bennymigs). He doesn't even let me hug him. He's not aggressive, just usually decides it should be a "group hug" Will this behavior effect us getting another dog? |

| You don't want him to become possessive over you. Sirmiq did this and it was hard for him when we first got Kiwi, but we let them know from the beginning that when we pet one dog, the other is not allowed to interfere. |

| Great tip...Thanks!!! It hasn't gotten to the point where it is a major issue, like I said...He just thinks it time for "group hug" but we should be aware of it so it doesn't turn into anything more than that! There are so many dogs out there that need homes and BennyMigs and I have the room. |
