We have had our pup with us for a couple of weeks now so we are looking at her diet and looking to slowly introduce new food (as the wet puppy food she had with the breeder we have to buy off the internet) Also we've read about too high protein content isn't good for larger breeds? She is currently fed 3 times a day (as advised from breeder so followed on routine) She is fed Purina Beta Puppy Dry Food and Nature Diet Puppy Wet Food. Any advise on the best puppy food, wet & dry? Thanks

How old is the pup? There really isnt such thing as a best food.. There are ones that are better than others but not one best.. One food might be great for one dog, but bad for the next. Huskys have sensitive stomachs. There are a bunch if threads on dogs foods you can look over.. There is a popular website most of us have used called dog food advisor. It tells you all the 5 star foods, 4 star, 3 star, etc. generally most of us on this site feed grain free food to our pups.. Hope this helps.. Goodluck!

I'm not sure if its available in the UK or not, but I really like Merrick. I have Dizzy on their Lamb & Rice and its about the only thing that he has a solid stool on. It has a lower protein content then some of the other high quality foods which has been good for him. I had him on taste of the wild pacific stream, but I think it was too rich for him and he always had soft stool, also he had panosteitis (growing pains) and the lower protein food seemed to help with both. I will probably switch him to one of the grain free merrick foods when he's an adult, but this works well for now.
