Today is the Day Maya is getting spayed, i hope all goes well

When koda got neutered last month he was whiney and a big baby when i brought him home.. However my gfs dog was just neutered and they brough him home and honestly he was fine.. Jumping around on people, just acting his normal self. Not even tired or acted in pain

i'll get her home tomorrow around 2:30 (when i get off), Zoë my other dog is missing her already. she hasn't even eat her breakfast yet

My Dakota got spayed on monday, when I picked her up afterwards, she was really tired and just wanting to sleep, getting her to the house was a task in itself lol... she ate/licked a couple ice cups then I was able to get her to drink water, she was not interested to eat at all that day (which is normal from what I have researched). She was really good, except for jumping on the couch to sleep, luckily we have a low couch.

She was really good about not licking her incision, I had to cone off her while I was able to watch her, and never tried to get at the incision once yet, but I put the cone on when I'm not able to see her (shower/sleeping etc), just to be safe, she def doesn't like the cone haha .

And today; 3 days post surgery she is acting like her normal hyper stuff, its been hard to get her not to play and run around haha .

So far so good, and a lot better recovery then expected!! Hope your Maya has a good recovery too!!

just called the vet and they said Maya did great, can't wait to get her home tomorrow

Ah I'm glad everything worked out fine and I hope you two are reunited soon!

Maya is home now and doing well.
