| Our new family member is arriving in 1 week!! And I have a strange question. Is there any difference in using plastic bags from the super market to pick up the poop, from using the doggy waste bags you buy? We just happen to have HUNDREDS of plastic bags in the cabinet and I thought to use those first to clear some space. |

| There is little difference in what you would accomplish, but I prefer using the doggy bags we buy, mainly because they use recycled materials for the packaging and they are biodegradable! |

I agree. I guess if you have lots of bags already then I would say use them, but I also use like the earth bags that are biodegradable. But no difference in how they pick up the poop! hahaha. I would say though be careful of the little holes that are in the plastic grocery bags sometimes, yuck!

| I don't think there's much of a difference. I just use plastic bags. Make sure there aren't any holes at the bottom of the bags, though. I've made the mistake of taking a bag with a hole in the bottom and you can guess what happened when I picked up the dog poop lol! |

| The cool thing about poop bags is that some if not all of them are biodegradable (correct me if I'm wrong). So you can just toss them in the woods or something and the bag will decompose over time as opposed to carrying something yucky all the way home to safely get rid of it. Although if you have a yard then plastic bags should be fine for that as far as I know. |

| I prefer the poop bags you buy.. other that preference there is no difference except most poop bags are biodegradable and most plastic bags are not. |

AHH! lol Just use the baggies til you run out. Or donate them to your local dog park. Our dog park has canisters that let you donate doggy bags and plastic sacks. I have a ton of them so I just grab a big handful and take it with me. lol |

| I wouldn't necessarily just toss them in the woods, unless there was no place for waste for a long time, wouldn't want a small animal to get tangled up in it. Overall, I prefer the poop bags. They are just easier to deal with and come in a nice compact roll. I put together a 'go bag' so that I can just grab it and go whenever my pup needs to go. I really recommend this, it has made potty training so much easier, and he doesn't have accidents while he's waiting for me to put my shoes on, find my keys, put his leash on, get poop bags and go out the door. |

| I personally feel there is a difference between the two. I pick a big pack of mine up at Home Goods and they are pretty thick and scented for 1/4 of the price. Sometimes the plastic grocery bags have holes in them and to me there's just not enough material between my hand and the poop, which grosses me out. Also, I like the idea of fitting a roll of doggie poop bags in a small container on my leash, vs carrying around a bunch of grocery bags in my pocket.
The benefit of the grocery bags is the handle, they make it easier for tying. |

| I use doggy bags most of the time, until I'm too lazy for a week or two to buy more, and then I use my plastic bags for a little while until I get over to the pet store. I've also noticed the smaller bags are easier to manage, sometimes the plastic bags can be hard to turn inside out (especially when its windy!) |

That's what I did when I first got Cloud and I recently ran out. I'm making an amazon order soon for coconut oil and a leash here in a couple weeks when I get paid next so I'll probably do the same thing and bulk up. Gotta order some new toys with this paycheck though ;P |

Gotta order some new toys with this paycheck though ;P I just got Dizzy and 8.8" plush soccer ball from petco and its his favorite toy ever. I let him play with it for a couple hours last night and when he was tired he took it into his crate and snuggled with it. It even beat out my slippers when he was on the prowl for something last night, and NOTHING beats my slippers, not even pig ears. |

| I got 1200 poop bags on eBay back in the fall for like $18 and free shipping. Came in sketching packaging and they have Japanese writing all over them. But if there's one thing I don't care about the brand with, it poop bags! |
