| When we go to bed I put Titan in her kennel and she falls right asleep because she is tired from the day. I set my alarm for 2 in the morning so I can take her outside. When we come back in if I try putting her in her kennel she wines and bites the doors and she doesnt stop. When she breaks in her wine I will go get her and take her out of the kennel to play with her for about 30 minutes or until she lays down on my lap or on the floor or something. Take her back upstairs and put her in her kennel, she falls right asleep and stays asleep till the morning.
Is this okay to do?
Should I play with her for a little bit in the middle of the night to make her tired?
or just let her wine to help train her?

| I would recommend letting her whine. The middle of the night potty breaks should be as low stimulation as possible. When she's a little older 30 min will turn into an hour, which will turn into not wanting to go back to sleep at all. Out of crate, outside to go, in crate and back to sleep. Trust me, you'll be happy in a few months when she wakes you up at 4 and can actually let you go back to sleep, like mine did this morning. Poor guy had an upset tummy. |

| If you play with her, it is just confirming to her that whining in the crate gets attention. You just need to tough it out and ignore it until she realizes she only gets to come out of the crate once she is quiet and settled. And especially if you want her sleeping in the crate all night, just ignore it. |

| I would avois playid with her unless this is a routine you want when she gets older. Which i doubt. When your alarm goes off do you wake her or is she already up and barking. If you wake her i would just let her sleep longer. Goodluck! |

She is awake when I go get her, but not whining, she is just standing there waiting for me to take her out of it. Its only when i put her back in the crate after she goes outside that she scratchs and whines and howls. |

| I agree with everyone I'd just let her whine and tough it out. She will soon get the idea that night time isn't playtime
