i adopted dakota about a month and a half ago. she was in a depression and would not come out of it. we tried everything we could but she did not seem to bond with anyone but my wife. she is very sweet and loving but did not want to be around the kids or any other animals. we tried to put her with another dog to help pull her out of her funk and get her to play. she did for 2 days then turned aggresive towards other dogs in the neighborhood. she was fine with them before we got the playmate after2 days with the playmate no other dog could be near her. she has had 2 pups that are now a year and a half old and is fixed. when she became aggresive our neighborhood forced us to take her back to the shelter. she is sooo sweet and just needs someone to love her. a single person or couple maybe looking for a jogging buddy. she loves to run and can even run with someone on a bike. shes not great with kids. not mean or anything just doesnt seem to be comfortable around them. she is 6 years old and is in a shelter in bowling green ky. i have tried to find a home but i do not have the resources that this website has. she is housebroken and crate trained (prefers to eat and sleep enclosed). our family really loves her and just wants her to have what is best to make her happy. here is a link to the shelters website. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/26355927?rvp=1 please help!!
