Hi, I was wondering if any of you wonderful people are looking for, or know some other wonderful people who themselves are looking for, an awesome husky puppy. A friend of an acquaintance (long story) made the mistake so many people make around christmass time and brought home a husky puppy for a house that was unprepared for either a husky or a puppy. In the end, (because apparently im the 'husky lady'?) I was asked as a favor to rehome her appropriately. Shes been with me for about 2.5-3 months. For a while I was thinking I was going to just keep her, but ive come to realize its just too much. In addition to not being able to foster any others while shes here, my other dog is agressive with her and I cant leave them alone. If I wasn't going back to school in the fall, things would be different, but it is what it is. Her name is Sakura and shes about 6 months old. Super friendly and playful with other dogs, has only met a cat once, but she was fine. Sits, down, stays, rides in the car well. True to her breed, shes a high-energy pup, and im only interested in rehoming her with someone who has husky experience. That said, she does calm right down after her puppy outbursts and has all the makings of being a truly great dog for that special person. Shes also absolutely stunning, which you can see if i ever manage to upload these pictures.......Im looking for a responsible situation that can provide her with everything she needs, forever. If your interested and think you can provide what she needs, or know someone who dose, give us a shout. Oh, we're in northern Vermont. [img] [/img]

Bump, just wanted to see how things were going? Were you able to find a home for Sakura? Maybe check into some husky groups/rescues to get some help in finding a home?

Did they contact the breeder they got the dog from? Many breeders have a 'first right of refusal' in their purchase agreements/contracts.

If you haven't found a home for her...I would love some more information on this beautiful girl! Is she UTD on shots, spayed? My girl is 6 months as well but doesn't look anywhere near as big as Sakura! Do you have any paper work on her? If you want to message me with more information that would be great!!! I live in northern mass on the Nh border so I'm not too far.

| This makes me happy. I love that Sakura is in a great home, and I love love love that we were able to use the forum to save a pup. She's not the only pup that has been saved this way in the past couple of weeks either, we were able to pull the aggressive puppy from a couple weeks ago into a rescue and he's being rehabilitated as we speak.
