That's fair. It's honestly pretty chill with H2M2 as well. You maintain autonomy over your group, and Frank (the founder) is pretty awesome about helping out with stuff. All I do is pick a park and set a date, then make the event on our facebook page (which I need to go do for this month). My biggest challenge is that I really don't know the area super well yet, and I have to work a little to find a suitable park.

If you ever change your mind, the offer stands and I'm more than happy to get you started. We've got a bunch of other members here who are involved with their state's groups as well.

Megan I take care of H2M2 for the Tulsa, OK area we end up with very small turnouts like about 4 or 5 the last couple of times.. Oklahoma has a lot of members but most are in OK city area they have bigger turns so far but they have been around for over 2 years in OKC and we have only be having meet up in Tulsa since January of this year.

It really isn't that much work just pick a park and set a date and time.. I am sure Meredith and Frank will provide help the such.

Well Frank contacted myself and Abby and after a bit of talking, we decided to go ahead and merge with H2M2. So we are officially now the Husky Huddle Malamute Mingle ~ Ohio.

I hope I did that link right. As a member I feel I can throw some stuff out here. A large amount of us seem to be in the cincy/dayton area (bleeding into Ky and In) then we seem to have a larger amount near the Toledo area I believe. We are on facebook so you can check us out.

We have had meet ups in Centerville/Kettering area, Mt Airy (Cincy), West Chester, and Fostoria this wknd.....maybe Xenia after that.

Jesse ~ Abby and Megan have had a couple small meet ups in Michigan. We do have a couple Michigan members. We actually have had a lot of small meet ups that were based more on a couple people rather than the whole Ohio Huskies aka now the Husky Huddle and Malamute Mingle ~ Ohio.

Shout out to Megan and Abby for getting all of this started!

Honestly, our meet ups are typically Dayton/Cincinatti areas. However, there are a few northern members (Cleveland, Fostoria, Akron) so I try to make it up there every few months. This sunday is the Fostoria meet.

We've driven 4 hours to Lake Orion, Michigan. Are you going to be close to the renaissance festival in Michigan for the pet weekend? We will be there on August 18th, just Mette and Chelsea from Michigan and myself and Abby from Ohio.

Now that we have merged with H2M2, we will hopefully be gaining more members. My goal is to get more northern members so we can have two meet ups a month, one for the northern members and one for the southern members. We are still going to drive out to the farther away meets for now until we have enough people to make the meet a success. But as I don't have a lot of extra money, most the meets I attend are going to be based two hours or less near where I live, which is why I want more members farther away to where they can attend meets without the southern members to make it successful.

and Ohio Indiana line, is only a couple hours to get more towards the Kentucky side though is kind of far

Just saw this post. Where abouts is 'Mason' or 'West Chester' for you? We seem to have a lot of mini meets there. We move around though, so August is Columbus, September is Cincinnati, no idea where October will be located. Perhaps if you can find a good dog park we can move farther left towards Indiana for you?

That little puppy is just ADORABLE! One of my favorite pictures is all the husky butts, of course. Seeing that little Min Pin makes me nervous! Does that park not have a "big dog","small dog" side?

There is a small side there he choose not true to use it. The min pin was there for five minutes by himself so he brought him over. For the most part he did ok. We were nervous at first but the dog did ok especially once the huskies stopped crowding him. There was a small pom too guess it was the day not to care. H e was a little yappy but seemed to enjoy himself.

Thanks! Yeah i was really nervous. I'm happy i didn't bring Maya because i knew she'd be really bad with Odin and she might have been bad with the min pin too. Kay would have just been annoying and keep trying to get it to play while trying to bite it's legs...

Just another case of typical stupid owner syndrome. Had the min pin run towards the field away from its owner Link would've pinned it in a millisecond, but since the min pin stayed near its owner there were no problems. And yes, the small side says 22 pounds and less but he watched the big dogs and decided to risk it. I'm just glad no small dogs were hurt..
