| OK. So i'm a little OCD with the collars/leashes and I like for them to all have the same kind of collar (check, Dublin Dog collars) and I like them to have their "own" leash. A lot of people who I know just use whatever leash is around but it really really bothers me to put the "wrong" leash on the dogs. Am I the only crazy one here?! Anyway! I bought Mickey a new leash today as his old one was getting pretty icky and I haven't seen it for about a month or so now... I've been using one of the "spares" but I can't find it in me to make that his permanent one! I think I have a few issues, TBH Got this one: https://www.dublindog.com/Dublin-Dog-Store/product_info.php?cPath=&products_id=319 Although I ordered it from Amazon as they didn't have the large in stock from DD. Really suprised since I ordered it first thing this morning (while I was at work... you know. "working") and it will be here Thursday! +1 for Amazon! Will post up a pic of Mic struttin his stuff in his new leash _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! | Nope. Hailey and Koda have the same collars from alpineoutfitters just in different colors and their own leashes. It really brothers me to put Hailey's leash on Koda and vice versa. It also bothers me that Koda and Hailey don't have the same type of leash. We couln't find one when we bought Hailey's stuff. Mind you, I would remedy all if this if I weren't about to marry a cheapskate _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I suppose that I only have one right now so it's not an issue, but Koda probably has over 25 collar/leash combos and I could never mix the patterns up. And I know when I get a 2nd I will be just as OCD as you!
P.S. Just ordered their Christmas collar since they're 50% off now, woo hoo! 13 is a steal! |

| I guess I'm the odd person out on this but I don't buy collars and leashes for look or anything, I buy collars, leashes and harnesses for function and that's it. Only matching I do is matching color of the collar, lead and harness. Each of my dogs has their ONE complete color matching (but not brand matching) set of collar, harness and lead. That's it! Again, I'm more into function than style or looks. A simple black nylon lead, collar and harness that is quality and works is all I need. Call me weird but it doesn't look bad, it doesn't cost a lot, and it works which is the point. My chi girls wear matching purple sets which I've discovered is a problem as I am always trying to figure out whose is whose...oops. Do I care about mismatching the leads on occasion? Not at all, I've been known to put my sibe on a purple lead with his black collar and harness. I walk my dogs on Flexi's so it would be impossible to match their collars/harnesses anyway. The only 4' and 6' non-retractables I have are black or purple and they are in the cars for emergency purposes...like if we take the dogs somewhere and forget to bring their Flexi's. I don't think my dogs care any more than I do about what they wear either. _________________ |

| Glad to know i'm not alone And for the most part I think they only have 2 collars each. The DD ones are for summer time because they are constantly wet and gross and #1 I hate wet-nylon-collar smell and #2 THEY WIPE CLEAN! That's self-talk that I give myself whenever I have to man up (girl up?) and buy another $28 collar. Val, I did the same stupid thing with the harnesses. Cheyenne and Mishka have 2 Lupine Harnesses with the sea turtles. Same size. Same color. | Ginger has a few collars, harnesses and leashes. They're all a little different. She has a few different leashes in different colors. Hubby likes black, and I like red for Ginger. But since I buy everything for her, she gets everything in red whenever possible. Otherwise, it'll be in black. I'd be OCD if/when the second one comes...it'll be a boy, so he'll get all his accessories in black My OCD extends to bowls too. Water bowl for outside, upstairs in our room, for her kennel, and for her eating area. Then a bowl for food. We have a 'paint-your-own-ceramic' shop and they have small and large ceramic dog bowls that I've been wanting to paint for Ginger...and because I'm OCD, I'll have to get 2 - one for water and one for food! Kinda fun to personalize and custom her doggie dishes.... I'm just OCD, period....Closet, kitchen, desk, recreation equipment... _________________ |

| Nikolai's "gear" is almost all blue. I'm toying with the idea of getting a nice St. Patrick's Day collar and leash, because it's my favorite holiday, but for nearly $40 bucks, I think I'm gonna pass. You're not alone - I like to have all his stuff match, too. |

| i had this great reply when i was waiting to see the doc then it never got posted anyways we don't really mach and i only buy a new leash/collar when the one they have is worn, broke or there is a deal i can't pass up. jack got a RW collar about 8 months ago and we tested it out liked it and got sierra one. then S&C had RW leashes on sale so sierra got a kind of matching set, pink and brown from RW but different patterns. now the only thing that bugs me is that jacks leash is longer like 6" then sierras so she is always trying to get a head! _________________ |

| Ok, so I guess i'm totally the non picky one (like Val). I personally always want to get Mya a pink collar and leash, but hubby is totally not having it. Not sure why since he's never the one that walks her, but w-e. Now that we have Kody he's eased up a bit. I use what works as well. Mya now has a black/pink collar (just for her tags while she's in the yard), her metal chain collar for all of her walks, and her black kurgo harness for when we go anywhere that involves the car and strap/line, etc. Kody has a blue harness for his walks and his beige/blue bone collar for when he's in the yard (just for the purpose of holding his tags...just like Mya). Don't get me wrong I have an assortment of other collars/harness's/leashes...too many actually! As far as the leashes I use the retractable ones. A blue one and a black one. Doesn't matter which dog it goes on...LOL |

| LOL it's official, you're worse than me! Just kidding I have bought "just in case..." collars too if they're cute and on sale. _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! |
