Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | have you checked some of the mushing sites and vendors? i would do 1 upfront and 2 in the back as well, that is if you do have a strong lead dog, if not then maybe 2 upfront and one in back _________________ |

| You can do either dual leaders, which if you don't have an established lead dog as lead is one of the most stressful positions on a team....or you can do dual wheel, single lead if you feel you have a confident leader and need a bit more pulling power. I don't have any videos of when I was running 3 dogs but I can show you a couple of pics running 3 dogs on a bike. You'll need a two dog gang line section and a single leader section if you run 2 rear and 1 lead, you'll still need a 2 dog gang line but also a dual leader 'Y' if you run single wheel and 2 lead also suggest a bungee section to attach from bike to gangline to absorb take off and hill climbs and an extension between the team line and the leader line (if you have a chewer you don't sacrifice your line just an extension). I'd suggest cabled gangline and neck line for dogs that are starting out, nothing like watching half of your team ditch you because someone is a chewer. Sorry for the poor quality- cell phone pics Front view on sled- If it's the three dogs in your picture- I do not recommend running a dog under a year old. You have to allow the growth to slow, joints to stabilize, and growth plates to close or you risk long term damage to your dog's joints. |

| I make my own lines- you'll have to price different sites like Alpine Outfitters and similar mushing sites to see what they are going for. |
