So everyone, just thought I'd let you know why I've been so MIA for the past few months... We added to our pack. Everyone meet, Anya.

The day she was born. 8lbs 9oz - 20.5" long.


2 Days old here. Wide awake with a full head of hair!


Still at the hospital looking a little jaundice. She pulled through without needing to be under the lamp things. Whew!


Appa found her to be extremely fascinating - and smell delightful. He still tries to lick her face, especially if she has a little milk on her lips. We have to be ever vigilant to prevent it. I don't like him licking faces in general...


At first he tolerated her. Now he seems to genuinely like her. This has become far more common the longer she's been around.


Crying was something for him to get used to. Before she showed up our house was very quiet. At one point when she had been crying for a spell he came running into the room and let out a great big deep "Arroooo-rooooo-rooooaaahh." He wasn't too pleased.


Just hanging out. Syd and baby are both doing great. Nice and healthy all around.


This is here just the other day. She's now 1 month old. It's been a great month.


She's a really good baby - people say we hit the jack-pot with her. I couldn't agree more.

Oh my gosh, CONGRATULATIONS! She is so precious and beautiful!

She makes me want November to be here now! (My second is due in November) Count your blessings, my first was (and still is) a very challenging, spirited little handful from birth. I am praying my second is the total opposite, calm and QUIET.

Congrats again and enjoy every moment. I miss when my daughter was that little.
