Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| So it isn't uncommon for the staff to receive PM on a regular basis dealing with Random marketing things for the site as well as solicitation. It is extremely rare it goes as far as it did this morning when someone actually registered to the forum so they could spam what ever they were selling. I banned the account, and the IP this morning, as well as deleting the posts the user made. However I just want to take a second to remind people to ere on the side of caution when you notice stuff like that. Do not click any links you see on the forum from some random user who just registered. You have no idea where you are being redirected or what content is actually on the site. Flag the post if you can in case a Mod isn't online. That way if it is hidden when we get on we can find it and remove it, edit it, or lock it. Apart from that just ignore them. The staff just wants to make sure you have an enjoyable experience while here, and we would hate for anyone to be "had" or even have to see solicitation on this site. Thank you all for your understanding and help ~It's a Husky Thing Staff~ _________________ Is this about the cake problem? | Thanks for the warning! Just to clarify, when we "flag" the posts to admin, are we clicking on the "!" within the triangle? (The button to the right of "Quote"? Never did it before, so I just want to make sure. |

Never did it before, so I just want to make sure. Yup. When ever you click that button we instantly get a message saying one of you guys flagged a post . We then review the info you provided as well as the post and take action as soon as we notice it. Or we ignore it and continue on our pretty little way It does however help a lot when a post gets bumped down and we miss it. We try and read everything but things get lost in the mix at times. By you flagging something we can always find it and it honestly helps a lot! ~Chris~ _________________ Is this about the cake problem?
