| i was out eating some chinese food and got a call from my neighbor and they told me they put a stray husky in my backyard. so i was finishing up my food and went home and checked her out. apparently she has been roaming the streets around my neighborhood for about two weeks. she is someones pet because she does great of a leash doesn't pull at all, she used to getting brushed, rides in a car very well and hopes right in when you open the door. she also does really well around other dogs also. i took her to the vet's office in Petsmart to let them scan her for a chip but there wasn't one, she did have a collar on but all it had on it was the name rusty and that's it. i don't believe that's her name. i gave her a quick bath outside (she didn't like that, i wouldn't either that water was cold) because she was muddy! when i first saw he i said she looks like she may be pregnant and the vets at petsmart said the same thing or had worms. she couldn't feel any puppies though. well here is two pictures of her, i got this chair out to sit in to brush her and she immediately jumped in it. she got down multiple times to just get right back on it |

| while giving her a bath i found a spot that looked like a hot shot like she got against a muffler or something and had a few what looked like like open wounds.
we are going to call the pound tomorrow to see if anyone been there looking for her and then decided from there. right now she is in my friends yard because i was advise by vets at petsmart to keep her away from my dogs until we find out if she had anything or not.... |

| Well found the owner of the husky. Called the dog pound and they knew exactly where the dog lives. I don't think the owner of hers even called the pound looking for her. If i get her again I may find her a new home bc i live too close to where she lives. The lady from the pound came and got her and told us the owner still wants her and that she is a known escape artist (well duh she's a husky ) and well they apparently not doing anything to keep her in. The lady from the pound said the owner said she usually runs with a great dane. Well if the husky comes back to my house I'm going to keep her until the owners comes looking for her. She such a sweet dog and also does great with cats and she deserves owners that cares for her and would do whatever it takes to keep her at her home. |
