So I,m having a little bit of a problem with my 15 moth old husky, first of all this is my 3rd husky but my last one lived to be 16 so its been awhile...lol I am familiar with the breed but Eska the one have I have now seems to" bully"my husband and daughter ?excessivelly jumping, nipping at their sleeves , and does,nt stop until she is given a time out and even sometimes after as well it has been going on now for about 6 months and I have tried everything I have told them to ignore her, to disciplin her, and everything else I could think of . any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

Have they asserted their dominance in the pack over her?

Yes most certainly....she does,nt do it all the time but sometime she does,nt give up....I dont want to be to aggressive with her in fear she will be aggressive back?

Does she know the command 'off' or 'leave it'? I use that with my puppy and it never fails to snap him out of that excited jumping/nipping behavior and put him at attention, waiting for a treat. It was relatively easy to teach. It took about 2 days. I just held the treat in my hand and of course, he started nipping and licking my hand, then I said 'off' and waited until he stopped trying to get it. Then, 'good boy' and treat. He gets very nippy when excited, sometimes he tries to get my calves when we're walking, and 'off' works well for that. I also use it when he tries to eat something he's not supposed to or is fixated on another dog when we are walking. My parents are visiting and he tries to nip and bite them as well, and so I leave little coasters of treats around the apartment and if he gets nippy with them I tell them to give him the command and treat if he listens. He has been listening well to them. It was a huge relief to teach him that!

Edit - I also use time outs. Sometimes he gets in that Tasmanian devil state. I'll take him out to make sure he doesn't need to potty, because sometimes he gets that way when he has to go. And if he doesn't them we come right back inside and he goes into his little area to calm down. If that doesn't work then, I put him in his crate, because it means he needs a nap. It's like his last ditch effort to stay awake and play. He's a young puppy though, so i'm sure that will change as he gets older. I'm not using the crate as punishment, I'm using it as a place to calm his mind down. It really works too. Sometimes only 5 minutes there with an antler or bully stick and he comes out much more relaxed and happy.

If you can try to catch him right before he for starts to jump and correct him. There's a way to do it without even touching him by just asserting yourself and claiming the space. It is so much easier to snap them out of it in the "I'm gonna......." part right before the "now I'm ............" part. It should become pretty predictible when he'll jump and what the body language cues are if you pay attention.
