Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Hello! My name is Alice, and my husband and are are the fortunate owners of our beautiful Tsubaki. I adopted Tsubaki a few weeks before my husband came home from Afghanistan, and ever since she waddled out the door a year ago and peed excitedly on his combat boots they've been an inseparable pair. Tsubaki is also my better half and motivation when the military drags her daddy away, keeping me smiling and motivated. We're still working out some behavioral problems, but with time and a lot of hard work, we'll get there in the end. |

| Welcome! You guys Marines? We've got a decent amount of military coming into the forum (I'm Navy), so you have a lot of support from people who are going through similar things with deployments, PCSing, etc. I'd love to see more pictures of Tsubaki too _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Thank you! Yes, he's a Marine, but we've only got two years left before we wander back on out to the strange uncharted lands of beards and pants without your name on them. It's nice to know I'll have other military people I can talk to, one of my biggest concerns is the upcoming deployment and how Tsubaki will handle getting used to him being gone for so long... We're trying to get good ones of the munchkin, she's just.... squirmy >_< Although she will calm down and stay still for Doctor Who. Nerd life, she's got it too apparently |

| Welcome! I like that name. I'll bet Tsubaki makes a great running partner. |

| Good luck with the upcoming deployment. My brother in law is heading over to the Sandbox later this summer too, he's a combat search and rescue pilot for the Air Force. Thankfully my deploying days are done, but I'm looking at venturing forth into that scary unknown of the civilian world in about 2 years myself. Seriously, I don't know how to put together an outfit for work and I have a really warped sense of humor. It's going to be a weird transition... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
