| So this really funny thing happened last week. My son is in preschool and the bus drops him off at our front door. Often times my wife and i take our 2 dogs (koda the husky and hunter the beagle) outside to wait for him and we all play in the yard until the bus gets there. Well last week the bus got there a little early, just so happened to be the exact time i was taking the dogs out the door.
I have to pause right here and say that Koda LOVES KIDS, but is shy of men and black people unless we are out at the pet store or on a walk, something about home turf makes her shy. But she hates strangers touching her head. Mainly because in here early months she didnt see many strange men or black people. She is only 6 months old.
But right as we stepped out of the door the bus stopped and koda bolted straight for the bus. As the driver opened the door and she hoped right on. She jumped onto the lap of the Male Black Driver, total stranger to her and just started licking him, giving him all the love in the world, and than she spotted all the kids on the bus laughing about it. she jumped off the drivers lap and got ready to head to the kids right as i grabbed her leash, every one on the bus thought it was funny exspecially the driver and the aid that rides with him. Totally made everyones day.
any one else have a moment like this |

| That's hilarious! Dizzy is still getting used to nyc and he spooks at some things. When something scares him he stops dead in his tracks and stares at it. And if I don't notice and try to keep walking, he'll back up and start talking and barking, and get the zoomies. . Well, today on our little jaunt, he stops and stares at a big scary object. I wait patiently and he slowly approaches with his neck stretched way out and I took a step closer, and so did he. This continued until he decided it would be okay to take a sniff of the license plate... And once he did that, it wasn't scary any more. What was this terrifying object? A Vespa, gasp! |

| brilliant, a similar but less spectacular incident happened with Arya.
Arya does not give love for free it is very much earned, however when a family relative visited my parents while we were also visiting she more or less knocked my sister off the sofa on to her ass to get to him and continued by licking his face repeatedly and sat pressed into him with a big smile on her face.
my mother who often looks after the dogs was very upset because she was completely blanked when usually Arya would be following her everywhere. |

| the bus driver was totally surprised had no idea, Koda knows my son comes off that bus so she ran right onto to meet him and found the driver first, the only thing we could think was that she was telling him "thank you for bringing home my boy!" The bus driver didnt even see her coming. |

| Thats awesome! I'm beginning to realize that Anya loves kids, too. She squirmed out of my arms to met my neighbors 15 month old daughter today. She had her ears back and tail wagging while she licked her face, it was so cute! Luckily there is a high school down the block that is at least half black. I have been ambushing the teens with the puppy in my courtyard as they walk past to get her socialized and desensitized to different groups of people. NO ONE CAN RESIST PUPPY |

| My nova used to love going on the school bus! My brother was in early education and special ed so he got dropped off at home and the driver would tell the kids to stay in their seats open the door and we would let nova run in and go greet everyone. My mom is a school bus driver and years ago when she was allowed to bring the bus home and use it to run to the store nova loved her school bus rides once she was in it we had to drag her out literally, it was one place she didnt need to be on a leash even those nasty neighborhood cats couldnt get her out. Maybe koda is trying to start a new tradition, lol! |
