The lady who has the litter my new pup Kaiya is coming from told me the weight of kaiya on her 5 week birthday last friday. She was 5lb 7 ounces, the smallest of the litter (though a few weeks ago she was biggest). her pictures and breed info etc are here;

How big do you think she will get? i know because of the unknowns it is hard to tell but google told me roughly 20 lb...which seams very small compared to looking at her mom.

I was hoping to do dog scooter with her, but i would need her to be like 40 pounds, right?

Since she is a mix then it will be hard to determine. 20 pounds seems way off! My pure bred Sibe was 4lb at 3 weeks and 9.7 pounds at 6 weeks. I'm expecting her to be 45-50 pounds but she could be as light as 36 pounds. It depends on how light or heavy boned she turns out.. You'll have to wait and see, but whatever the outcome it shouldn't stop you from scootering with her in a year. She just has to be motivated to pull and run

Thanks! you made me feel a lot less stressed lol. I had done a lot of research on dog scooter and was really looking forward to it. I know to teach her stuff as she grows up (harness, pulling branches around, commands etc) but to wait untill shes a year or so(fully grown) before she actually pulls as to not hurt her. But i read she needs to be 40 pounds to pull me (110lb) plus the scooter, and wouldnt want to ask too much of her! Your sibe means quite a bit bigger than her at 5 weeks. but again like you said mines a mix of some sort. and i guess the dad couldnt be all that small since lucky, the mom, is fairly large.

Even in purebreds there are some drastic size differences. My Yuki is only 36 pounds while her brother from the same litter is currently 58 pounds. You never really know where they're going to end up at and since she can't pull you until shes a year old anyway (to let her growth plates develop and to not over-strain a young puppy) its a wait-and-see game ^.-

20 lbs is extremely light, my aunts pug is 21.6lbs at 2 years lol... even if your husky is a mix im sure you can count on her being in the 35 to 45lbs range atleast. it's also kinda hard to determine a more exact, wight range seeing as the possiblity of a lab mix seemed to be more of a guess on the rescuers part, but either way you should be fine.
