Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Dakota Love Doggie Daycare!! :) Empty
PostSubject: Dakota Love Doggie Daycare!! :)   Dakota Love Doggie Daycare!! :) EmptyFri Apr 26, 2013 2:57 pm

So a lot has changed for me in the past few weeks, My now Fiancee Smile got a new job in a different state, and has moved there for his training and to start work, leaving me with my adorable but energy filled 4 (almost 5) month old baby girl Dakota all by myself.

As a nurse, working shift work (mid shift 12 hr work day), I was stressing over what to do with my baby girl as I know she can't stay in her kennel all day. After lots of research and talking to people who had their dogs in the local petsmart doggie daycare, I decided to try it out. And thank god Dakota ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT.

I was nervous the first few times, and found myself calling for updates every time I took a break, and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, they are great, and very understanding that Dakota is my baby and I worry about her.

She gets report cards everyday she goes, and all the feedback is that Dakota is the star of the day, all the workers love her and she plays well with all they dogs in her play group.

My mother in law picks her up from doggie daycare and brings her home for me, so she is only in her kennel for a few hours, so thankfully I have great support around me, and when I get home after a long work day/night, I take her out and she is always soo happy to see me. But she is exhausted from a long day of playing with her new friends, and sleeps well throughout the night.

I know some people that have had negative words about the petsmart hotel/doggie day care, but I have nothing but good things to say about them, every phone call, every drop off and interaction has been great. They are strict with the vaccinations and check for any injuries or issues with every drop off. And Dakota is a happy puppy and thats all that matters to be.

Im soo excited and happy to have found a way to be able to work my shift work schedule and keep her a happy puppy!!

Just wanted to share my good experience with the doggie day care so far!
Hope everyone is having a great day, and weekend!!
