And I am sorry to hear about your future pup being pushed back. We were supposed to get our pup August of 2013 and it ended up being January 2014 and that was a lot better for us. Gave us time to get ready and there were two times were we got to help out friends and there dogs that we wouldn't have if we had a puppy at the time. Also when we got Simon it was timed perfectly for us to get him into a puppy class. Haha well for shampoos if I may give a suggestion, I love my EarthBath and TropiClean For skijoring equipment I know the bf got his skijoring belt and line from nooksack and loves it. I'm not too bummed about it being pushed back, just feel terrible for my breeder, it's sad that the breeding won't take place ever. But I fully support her decision as she is doing whats best for the future pups. Hoping to go hiking tomorrow and if I do I'll try to get some pics |

Hehe this made me giggle - I have seen a litter out of two reds (both with strong red heritage) turn out all greys, solid black and dilute blacks! Nature can be funny sometimes it was a slightly ironic litter. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you get your red baby though, I'm sure your odds are good! Megan I am very sorry to hear your little Natsu is not to be quite yet, I admire your breeder though - the world would be a much better place if everyone was that conscientious about the welfare of their animals and others! What is meant to be will be though and it sounds like you have some good plans for your pack already Maybe you could talk your boyfriend into another pup instead... then both of you would have 3 (so everyone has a friend ) and you would still get your puppy fix hehehehe |

| Nice neighborhood for walking! I often wish we lived in an area where there was more sidewalk. Our town is really residential but there aren't many sidewalks here, and if there are, it's just simple blacktop and it's really narrow and close to the road with no curb. They built a nice stretch of sidewalk on a street adjacent to ours but we have to cross the road from our house and walk a quarter-mile down the street on crappy sidewalk to get to it. Right now the sidewalk is covered with snow because it's the residents' responsibility to clear it and no one did. Hence we've been driving to get to our walking locations because Layla freaks out if we have to walk in the road. She's getting better about it, but I just can't wait until the snow melts all the way so we at least have a little more sidewalk to walk on! Anyway, rant over. I have to point out how much I love the pic where all three dogs are turning at the same time to investigate whatever they found on the lawn. Made me LOL. |

Lol I love the sidewalks, one advantage to living in a crappy city where everyone has to walk everywhere. But the sucky thing is there's always tons of trash on my street until I turn onto a street thats technically the next city, the dogs don't always want to listen to 'leave it' and 'drop it' rofl. But other than that its great, and I agree I loved how they're all like 'oooh a leaf!' or whatever it was XD |

Layla went nuts yesterday when we were walking on the little bit of sidewalk that was clear and she found an old banana peel. She had a field day and it was all I could do to yank that gross thing out of her mouth! |

Thank you! Those were taken with my new camera, pretty happy with the pics so far. And thats his newest collar from Zaley Designs, the clip is metal. Another husky owner recommended them and its my favorite collar to use for photoshoot and dog park days. She will be releasing her summer collection on June 1st if there aren't any patterns you particularly like, I know I'm waiting until then to get Cloud and Yuki a pattern as I've only ordered Link one. https://www.etsy.com/shop/ZaleyDesigns?ref=shopsection_shophome_leftnav - capellalayla wrote:

| The buckle on those collars - are you satisfied with the durability and reliability? As in, the buckle will stay buckled? I have a spare nylon web collar with that buckle that I am undecided about. I want to keep his tags on one collar and his leash on another...the leash collar comes on and off. His tag collar is always on (i know, he is microchipped and he doesn't seem to be an escape artist, but still, I want him easily identified, worry-wort that I am) |

I'm pretty satisfied with the buckle thus far, I've never had any issues with it seeming weak or easily detachable. I never use buckle collars for walking though, so this collar will never have the strain of a leash on it. It only holds tags and hangs loosely on him. I know a fellow husky owner who recommended the collar who keeps her collar on pretty much all the time and its held up pretty well so far. - Rocio_Caballero wrote:
