Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I can tell you a story of Chelsea (left) and Shamrock (right): One day, both Chelsea and Shamrock were over at my grandma's house. A couple of dogs across the street started barking, and Shamrock responded in kind. Woof-woowoof-woof-woof at the storm door. This went on for so long that Chelsea got up, went over to Shamrock and with one swipe of her paw sent the little dog tumbling. With Shamrock in stunned silence, Chelsea then laid down to get more beauty rest. They got on wonderfully, mind you; Chelsea just wanted a little peace. |

| We do not have any type of house plants in our apartment, just because we do not have the space so my boys have never seen an in door plant. So we went over to my friends new house to play with her puppy and just look around. She has this big tree like plant in the corner of her den and Nikolai went over to lift his leg on it (I don't blame him, he thought it was perfectly acceptable) so I caught him just in time and told him no. Then right after that Siku went and tried to lift his leg and luckily I caught him too. Then all of a sudden her Bernese mountain puppy went over, lifted his leg and peed right on the tree, since he "saw" the older dogs do it. Apparently, since we have left he will not stop peeing on this tree, needless to say we have yet to be invited over again to play! |

| I do not have any big great adventure stories yet but I do have one that makes me giggle. I fed him his breakfast the other day and while I was cleaning the living room I hear all this ruckus coming from the back yard. I go into the kitchen to find he moved his dog food bowl to right outside the doggie door, he made it so he could stick his head outside to eat and leave his body in the air conditioned house. That is when I realized maybe he doesn't like going outside in the 116 weather to eat...... .....I started feeding him inside LOL |
