Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. | Hey everyone,
Take the poll to help name my new pup before she comes home!
After spending most of the academic year searching I decided that a husky was right for me. Since then I've been working on living a healthier lifestyle and adding some structure to my daily routine. This forum has been my number 1 go to resource for just about everything husky related. I'll be bringing my baby girl home around May 14th when she turns 8 weeks old (and when the students leave this college town).
My girlfriend and I haven't been able to decide on a name yet, but hopefully we will soon. We've already done all the shopping gotten a lot of great toys (kongs, balls, stuffed toys, puzzle toys, you name it), collars, some safety supplies, grooming stuff and one of the Tagg trackers if something bad happens. We've gotten lots of other great things as well.
After reading a few books, this forum and speaking to several friends we have decided to feed her a raw diet. Its a little nerve racking but we are looking forward to the benefits it should provide. Feel free to shoot me any questions or tips!

| Yeeee! I admire your preparedness! I will be picking my puppy up about a week before you do and I will start feeding her raw right away as well. I already bought the freezer and 10+ pounds of chicken. I look forward to seeing her and sharing puppy adventures with you |

| Welcome!
Can you tell us more about the pup? I don't want to vote unless I know a bit about her. Coat color? Eyes? |
