1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

WOW lol. My other foster husky ate one in 4 hours, and I thought that was fast! Juneau likes to chew on them for a little while and hides them around the house. It's all fun and games til you plop on the couch and one pokes you in the back! LOL!

Yes, they do stink.  Some batches are worse than others.

I am a huge neat freak and freak out when my house smells like 'dog'.  So, I buy the odor free ones.  Juneau loves them just as much and they don't smell - AT ALL! From my understanding, they're just 'dried out' longer or something like that.  They have a small small small odor if you sniff it within a few inches from your face, but definitely nothing compared to a regular one. Smile

www.bestbullysticks.com has the best prices all around.  They also sell bones, antlers, etc.

I get the jumbo size and it usually lasts a week for Juneau.

If you can't stand the odor and want to throw em out, donate them to your nearest shelter or rescue instead.  Or make her eat it outside. lol

Okay I'm glad to know that! I knew they were recommended by tons of people and they do have great prices. I can pay $10 for a 6-8" braided bully stick from our local feed store and get TWO 12" braided bullies from BBS.com for the same price. Of course those didn't smell to high heaven like the BBS ones.

I may end up donating them and just order the odor free ones. The bull knuckle I ordered smells horrible too. He's only going to be getting that when he's outside. Because that looks like it's going to be a mess AND reek.

The bullies will last him a few days to a week if he chomps on it continuously. So they're well worth it to give me some peace. Lol.

Thank you!
