| Well I knew it would happen--husband wants second husky! What about timing and age differences? We are thinking the sooner the better so they can grow up together? Any advice or thoughts? We gave three adult goldens (2 girls and 1 male) and Mishka (girl) not quite 5 months. If we get another husky, we want a boy. Then I will have reached my dog quota! LOL |

| if everyone is trained like you want them to be and you have the room and the $ to care for another then go for it. sierra and jack are 5yrs apart but you would never know they play the same level. if you go for a male maybe shoot for one that is about a yr so your not dealing with another "puppy" _________________ |

| just remember, this is your husbands idea so when the new puppy cries to go potty 3 times a night HE can get up and take the puppy out lol.
All kidding aside, Good luck and i agree with wanting a puppy to train yourself. |

| To each their own on the puppy thing - different people have different reasons. I, personally, am waiting until Stark is a bit older and more mellow to add a second to the household since I want him to fully pass through his teenage years before I ended up with back-to-back teenage years for 2 years of my life. If I were you, I'd probably wait until Mish is grown out or almost grown out of her teenage years to add to the pack. That being said, it seems like you have a pretty big pack already, so it may not be worth batting an eyelash since there'll be so many furbabies anyway. Best of luck with whichever route you choose - you know what's best for your (fur) family! |

| I have a 19 month old female lab, a 14 month old male husky, and a 11 week old male husky. So basically three puppies lol. Love them to death, lots of work which I love. So far no problems. I made sure I could afford them before I got them, all 3 have pet insurance too! Balon and Loki are brothers, different litters of course same parents! They get along well. Sure Loki gets on Balons nerves once in a while but I just stop him when I see him getting too be a bit much lol. I use it for training time for Loki lol. I'm never sorry I got any of them, but I can tell you 3 is definitely my limit! |

| I keep finding myself looking at puppies again. I am cutting down to 1 day a week of work during the summer and think it would be a great time to add another pup but I think I will wait. I am stuck between the thought of another husky, I am learning they have such personality or getting a lab ( I sure miss Kodi) and my son wants a boxer LOL...hey maybe we should get a Huslaboxer ...j/k |

| We have Sky who is 3 months and a 4 1/2 year old lab. I've been looking at everyones pictures oohing and awwing showing the hubby
After some discussion and doing our sums we've decided we want another pup, planning to get all the sleepless nights and teenage years done close together, bit like my kids who are 8, 6 and 5 haha
I don't imagine it will be at all easy, I'm sure I'll turn myself grey and question my sanity at times but I've always been a glutton for punishment (not actual punishment but I'm sure ykwim) |
