| I am currently looking up different tick remover tools on amazon. I have come across four different types and was wondering which one you would recommend?
Contech Tick Twister Pro
Ticked Off Pets Tick Remover
The Tick Key

| I think it's easier to just grab them with your fingers and twist their bodies while pulling them out. It's what I did for a couple years during a really bad infestation. You can slip with a tool and it takes forever to re-find a tick in all that fur. I only caution that you don't yank them out because the heads can tear off and remain under the skin, potentially causing an infection.

| I just use tweezers to grab the head and remove the tick then burn it after it is removed from the dog. _________________ |

| I heard putting Dawn dish soap on a cotton ball and placing it over the tick will make the tick back out on it's own.
I've never personally tried this, but someone told me about it a few month's ago. |

I've never personally tried this, but someone told me about it a few month's ago. We use a shotglass of vodka the same way as a cotton ball of dawn, in my alcoholic, camping, dog loving family. They back out and die everytime. |

| I have been blessed with a husky that has only had one tick in her entire lifetime. I have no idea how I got so lucky because she and I have spent plenty of time outside and in the woods. I've had more ticks than her... |
