| I went to the dog store and look at some food.. As i was there i think i figured out why koda has been sick.. I think he is allergic to turkey..the friday before he got sick my mom gave him a bunch of deli turkey meat. Later that day he had diarhea all over my car.. Later that weekend i added more of his new dog food and less of his old food.. New food being earthborn holistic primitive nature and his old being bbw puppy.. At the store i looked and earthborn first ingredient is turkeymeal.... And bbw 4th or 5th was turkey.. When he was back on just bbw he did ok on ot just real gassy and some soft stool not all the time like it was when i increased his earthborn.. So is it possible that he is alergic to turkey? At the store i bought him nutriaca chicken and chicpea hoping this can be his new food any thougjts?

| It's absolutely possible. One of our rescue dogs is allergic to all fowl protein, as well as grains, dyes, and a few other not so good things...so no chicken, duck, turkey for her! She does great on the TOTW Venison/Bison formula as well as the Salmon formula. |

| My female does not well on chicken, turkey or duck unless it is raw freeze dried or dehydrated, so she has a slight intolerance to poultry protein and if it is processed.
Deli meat usually has sodium as a preservative, so that could be what set your pup off. If your pup still has soft stools and goes softer or runny when turkey is increased, it could be an intolerance. However, I would think chicken and duck would also cause the issue. _________________ |
