Good evening to you all, our puppy “Shadow” has been sneezing and coughing ever since we took him to the vet to get his rabies shot. He was perfectly fine when he went to the vet and after we got home he started sneezing. That was four days ago. My boyfriend and I thought he would get better but he started coughing today. He is still eating and playing normally, so I do not know what is going on :/. We would really appreciate any help or suggestions, thanks!

Possibly an upper respiratory infection. I'd say a vet visit is in order.

I agree with Brooke. I would take him to the vet and have him checked out.

Sounds like he caught kennel cough, most likely from another dog who was in there before. I would tell the vet that you believe he got the cough from their office and possibly ask for the visit or medicine for free or hearty discount (look up the legal definition of "causation")

May have been coincidental, too. Dogs can have allergies and it's getting to be that time of year.

Dogs do not show allergies through the respiratory tract, they show it through their skin. Itchiness, licking, hairloss, ear infections, etc, are all classic signs of allergies. Dogs that are coughing and/or sneezing can have an infection of some kind (colds are infections) or an irritant.
