Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Genesis is our 2 years old Siberian female. She is truly a wonderful dog, and she is so good to us and all of our family members (adults). She was spayed when she was about 10 months old. But she have a very huge aggressive behavior towards " her stuff" and she is very dominant. We went to the dog park about 3 weeks ago, and she attacked the smallest dog in there. It was ridiculous, and then she wouldn't let any dog drink out of the water bowls when she was there. I know this is something that we definitely missed while training her. We want to get this fixed before her aggression gets to become too much. We need help. We make her "earn" her food, by making sure she does tricks before handing it to her, and having her wait. But if another dog comes near her, or any hand goes near that food, she won't hesitate to attack. I just really need guidance please! I'm just terrified that she won't calm down and she would end up attacking infants or any other future dogs we planned to have.

| Have you thought about seeing a behaviorist? Where in Northern VA are you located at? If you are in the Annadale, Springfield, or Woodbridge area I recommend All about dogs inc. https://www.allaboutdogsinc.com/ We take our pup there for obedience class and it has done wonders for him (us) |

| I know that I made sure Shaqua knew I wouldn't tolerate that. I would periodically take her food bowl away mid-meal just to make sure she didn't get aggressive. During a short time her and I lived with my ex (and his aggressive pitbull) she became food aggressive again, but since we escaped that environment she has finally gone back to her normal eating habits. I just had to get her used to the idea that I was going to take care of her and she was ok. |

| When we trained Karli I'd make her eat at least one meal a day out of my hand. I made hubby do it too that way she knew that regardless of which one of us it was, we were in control of her food. We haven't had any issues with her at all, so maybe see about starting over from the beginning with that training. |
