Ok, I don't know if I'm saying this right, so correct me if I'm wrong please. This question is for fun, not something that I'm actually concerned. I never had a dog before Ghost so I don't know if all dogs do the same thing.
Here it goes, Ghost has a fetish! He loves to give kisses to people but only in the mouth. If you try to hide the face he keeps going after the mouth, if you hide under the blankets or turn your face to the other side, he starts "digging" in the blankets or jumps to the other side. I think it's incredibly funny. The best part is that if you don't let him kiss you on the mouth he walks away like he is disappointed or something, and if you do let him he stars kissing like a crazy dog and the more he kisses you the more excited he gets and kisses more and more and jumps on you and doesn't leave you alone. You have find an escape so you can breathe.

Does your dog also does this or he/she has any other fetish?

Holly, one of my folks pugs, does the same thing. Nanook will do something similar (the digging if you hide/go under a blanket). Holly'll do that as well. Nanook doesn't got crazy about kisses, but he's not much of a "romantic" lol

I don't know about fetish but Blaze can be a OCD about some things he will not let you eat pizza in peace thinks he should get some no matter what you tell him he can also get OCD about some of the attends at doggie camp certain ones he likes and will not leave alone.


Oh I should add that Kerian is OCD about John my husband. she will sit and stare at him in the evening. She is his dog loves him very much.

Wolves usually like to greet by checking out the face so sounds like Ghost kept some of that behavior haha. Mine does something similar but likes to sniff your mouth, weird dogs lol.

Nanook will do anything for an ice cube. As soon as the freezer opens, he is right there giving the person the evil eye until he gets his ice.
Luci has a thing for rabbit poop. Some wild rabbit dares to enter our backyard. I've only seen it once, but there is fresh evidence (poop) every afternoon. It's always a battle to remove it before Luci finds it. Sometimes she beats me to it, which is unfortunate since she also likes to do the face lick. ugh

Denali is OCD about licking, doesn't have to be a specific place but if you are still he has to be licking you. I've felt drenched after sitting with him for just a few minutes! LOL

Mishka has a T.P. fetish~my hubby thought of having her on the "My Strange Addiction" show! lol

She also wants to lick mouths, but only my oldest son's. She wants to lick his teeth. Gross! ?? She will sleep close to me, and everyone else, but she has to sleep on top of my oldest boy. And he's not her "person", either....I don't get it.

One cat, Martini, loves chewing plastic bags, the thicker the better. If it has reinforced handles, she goes straight for those. The second I bring a nice one home she starts eyeing it from afar, and if I turn my back there she is munching away. That's not her only fetish, she also really like cell phone ring tones. If I play through the iphone ring tones she is fascinated and runs over and stares at the phone and meows. She's a very quirky tortoise shell. The other cat, Miles, definitely has a fetish, over last 6 months or so, whenever my husband or I have a phone conversation he goes over to his cat bed and starts humping it. He was neutered when he was about 6 months old and is now 11. I guess he REALLY loves the sound of our voices. Although normal conversation doesn't get him going, just the phone calls. Tasha, my parents husky is an ear licker, not people, but other dogs. Especially dogs with floppy ears... If I rub or scratch her ears she has to sniff and lick my hand and fingers after. She's never had an ear infection, but she sure does love ears. She's also a neat freak. When she poos in the snow she uses her nose to cover it up by pushing snow over it. She trys to do the same thing with grass, but it doesn't work too well lol.

Koda loves licking feet!!!!! He doesnt do it everyday.. But out of bo where if im talkin to family or someone and they feet are exposed and he sees them... Watch out!! Your toes are gonna get soaked!! Lol

Loki likes to lick your feet when you come out of the shower and only after a shower and if we are walking and he walks by a dandelion that is about to seed he has to eat it. He is such a knucklehead.

The three LOVE to “brush their teeth”. Not actually brush their teeth, they hate that, but whenever they see hubby or I go brush our teeth they come running! They sit in a line and wait for us to let them lick the toothpaste off of the sides of our mouth. Mya started this years ago and then Kody picked up on it and now Asia also. We don’t let them lick too much of it though.

Asia does the kissing on the mouth thing also. She’ll do anything to catch you there. She’ll sit and look you sideways and then boom! Whatever, we don’t care. It’s cute. She also likes to lick my hubby’s ear. He’ll tell her “Asia, clean my ear” and she goes crazy..lol.

Kody loves to lick your deodorant. I HATE THAT! Feels so weird! He also has a thing with getting his belly rubbed when we’re in bed at night. If you stop, he’ll complain and start snapping his mouth. Weirdo.

Kato and Karma constantly fight over who gets to be between my legs.
If we're standing outside talking to the neighbor, or watching the kids play basketball....they will both come up to me and shove eachother out of the way so that one can come in between my legs.
If karma gets there first, Kato will shove her out of the way and vice versa. Sometimes I usually lose my balance and find all three of us on the ground!

I second the kissing in the mouth. Meeka gets my son all the time, I in turn turn away (don't mind licks in the face just not mouth, but she never does it). The more I turn away the harder she tries.

I have to bribe her with a dental treat (she loves arm & hammer ones) to stop trying for my mouth...haha

Ghost does the same thing too, then after sniffing he decides that it passed the test and it's time to licking

Ghost also has a weird thing with restrooms. Whenever we go there he just goes running after you. If you close the door slightly he enters, and if the door is completely closed it starts scratching and scratching and gets in 2 feet, sometimes during that he does "woo woo". If you don't open the door for a while e just lays there with his nose glue to the door.

Zoë loves to give hugs and will do it on command or on her own. i did not train her she just did it.

Danzig has a few weird fetishes. He likes to lick your hand and when you make a circle with your index finger and thumb, he REALLY gets into it.

He also likes to lick the lotion off me while I'm putting it on. Which can get awkward since I do it straight out of the shower.

He likes to lick our GSP's ears too, which just plain grosses me out. Little weirdo.

Karli has a sock fetish, she will pull them off your feet to run off with them. She is obssessed with licking MY face. Not my hubby's only mine. And she knows what the sound of a bag opening means lol.

Yuri likes to watch me in the shower or lay on the bath mat till i get out o.o

Ah, and loves women, any age, he doesnt care and wont leave them alone till he gets to lick them somewhere.

Shaqua likes citrus fruits. She doesn't eat them, but she likes to steal them and play with them. She is so good at not getting into personal bags and such, but for some reason if someone has an orange or lemon she is bound to find it. One day a friend was staying and she had some oranges in her bag. I was sitting in the living room and Shaqua kept showing up with these oranges. She showed up with one, I took it away, then she reappeared with another...I had no idea where she was getting them! LOL

I also had a lemon that I was trying to throw out and chucked it into the woods. Shaqua hardly ever plays fetch. I was packing up the car so we could go on a trip and I came back outside a few minutes later and there she was with the lemon, ready to go for our car ride. Ha ha! She never breaks the peel either, so every now and then I'll just give her a lemon to carry around and I can always wash it and use it later.

Our Avalanche favors leather booties with rivets, other than that, no fetishes. Well, you mentioned the bathroom. For some reason the dogs like to pile into the bathroom when DW is bathing. No one else. It looks like students trying to stuff a small car except a lot fuzzier.

Dakota has not so much a fetish as a vendetta against all stuffed animals. He chews out the eyes. He doesn't disembowel them or tear off their heads just the eyes. I guess he doesn't like the way they look at him.
