| So we go to training twice a week since October. The place we go isn't a rush them through kinda place, you move up through the levels 1- 4 at the pace of your dogs learning. Once they feel that you and your dog have mastered the skills in that level they move you. Loki flew through Levels 1 and 2 but was stuck at Level 3 for 3 months. Last night he was graduated into Level 4 and is that much closer to taking his CGC. Our trainers are so proud of how far he has come from the fluffy little pay attention to me growler (their words) to the goofy somewhat well attentive boy he is today. They think that he will be ready in a few months to test for his CGC just based on his overall growth. They have literally watched my little man grow from a 4 month old 15 pound puppy to the 9 month old 65 pound lug I have now. I couldn't be more proud of him (well I imagine when he passes his CGC I'll be ecstatic) and our trainers for taking the time and effort to help us train a "untrainable breed" 4 months 9 months

| Congratulations! And you should definitely be bragging. I experienced the "untrainable breed" comments from some, and Kane was the "sing to the entire Petsmart because I'm bored" dog when we had him in training. Good Luck on your CGC! |

| Not untrainable...just stubborn. That's great news on the training--good job! I'm sure it took a lot of patience from you. |

CGC stands for Canine Good Citizen - it's a series of little tests they put your dog through - it's usually a highly recommended precursor for therapy dogs, but anybody can put their dog through them. |
