Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.
I totally missed this photo when they posted it, and just noticed it! Wow it made me melt and broke my heart! A doggie bromance!
Oohh h man...I've been going back and forth - shall we get another, give Ami a playmate and a buddy for my husband so he doesn't feel left out...and this was on petfinder today (he looks just like Ami - same expression in his eyes)

I saw the same post on Facebook. I'd apply to adopt him, only he's in PA with MaPaw and unfortunately they don't adopt more than 100 miles outside their headquarters since they do home visits.
Sorry, don't mean to post all these successive posts on your thread, Jen ... I just saw an update on Facebook about Tundra, that beautiful red boy in rescue at MaPaw. They say:
Quote :
Tundra Update ~ Tundra has been with us 48 hours and watches the puppies play but won't join in their games. Tundra is in the office sleeping, not even getting up for visitors. Out of much concern we took our little guy to the vet this afternoon. I had to carry him in and he laid there, not even lifting his head.
Tundra has a bad infection in his left elbow. He was tested lyme negative, but the infection is bad and painful. His "good" front leg has not been allowed to developed from lack of movement and probable constant crating ~ It is stiff and will not bend. We have been told this darling puppy has suffered neglect/abused and this may not be irreversible. He may only have 3 workable legs.
Please send sibe vibes and prayers for our sweetie. He is such a darling ~ he is safe now and he deserves the chance he never had. We will send updates . He will have the best vet care and we will do absolutely everything to give this precious pup the chance he should have had from the beginning.
Tundra say "Thank WOO" to every one !
So sad! Hope he gets the best care possible and finds a loving forever home.
