So we're going to try this again...there has been some interest expressed in a SE Mi meet, and I know we have quite a few members in the area. I am in Ann Arbor, but I think the majority of members are in Livonia and East. I'm not familiar with what is out that way location-wise for a meet. I am willing to host at our house, we've got a pretty decent yard, but I know it's a bit far for those all the way on the East side. Any takers or ideas?

Weekends usually work best for me as the grad student life is hectic...

We live in Romulus area, and we would be interested. We have a friend with Onyx's brother, who would probably be in too. Weekends are easier for us, also. And I'm a graduate student myself so I understand!

What kind of location would you like to do?

Would be interested in a weekend meet.

We could probably look into a dog park that is central to everyone who would like to meet up. The weather is perfect for the dogs to run and play. Plus this would give us a chance to let them run around with out restriction of a leash. Just an idea.

I think we saw you guys at ren festival back in the fall. Did onyx have an injured paw?

No, he didn't have an injured paw, but I wouldn't doubt it if you saw us there. It was when we realized that there is like this secret society when you own a husky that we didn't know about. We spent half the day talking to people who just love huskies, and telling all the crazy stories about the pooches. We will be taking him again with us this year, it was just way too much fun!

The one we saw was a black and white malamute.

Onyx is pure siberian husky. So maybe we didn't...
