2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. So, a few of you have already seen this on Facebook, but after over a year of wearing down Aaron he finally said yes to fostering. The shelter up in Baltimore, BARCS, got slammed with dogs over the last 24 hours, and as a result they had a super urgent need for fosters to step up. I'd been talking to them over the last few days and we were going to wait until I hear the verdict on my ankle, but with their need we went ahead and stepped up.

So, we are currently fostering Diamond, a 2 year old Pit mix. She is very timid and very underweight, but she warms up quickly once she realizes you're a friend. She also has a respiratory infection so she hasn't met our dogs yet (we're splitting time on who is cooped up and who is allowed out), but she's seen the cats and basically ignores them. For those in the Baltimore/DC/NOVA area, if you or anyone you know is interested in a non Husky to adopt, she's awesome. We have to get her better and then spayed, but she'll probably be ready for adoption in a month or so.

And without further adieu, introducing Diamond:

I am so glad he opened up to the idea! So awesome! You never forget your first foster. Mine was almost a foster failure lol. She is beautiful! I absolutely adore pit bulls!

ETA: I cannot get over that face. Such a sweetheart. I wish I could take her,

So cute! And good for you for fostering!

If I wasn't going back and forth between home and school all the time, I would LOVE to foster.

I hope she finds a forever home very soon!

Actually one of Aaron's good friends who lives in DC is really interested. It would be amazing if she wound up getting adopted by him and his wife Smile
