I wanted to take some cute pictures of my pup while he is still a pup and I was wondering if you guys had any photo suggestions such as props or set up or what.

Right now I can't think of anything cute other than fridge puppy which was very fun.

Babies and puppies sleeping next to each other, nuff said.

Other cool ideas might be to get a pic of you and him doing a high-five, or maybe him jumping on something/someone. A puppy vs. vacuum picture would also be kind of funny.

I really like that fridge picture though. xD

Edit: Oh I almost forgot; put him in a Christmas stocking hang him up and take a picture! I know the holidays are over but it would make an awesome picture for later this year. I tried to do it with Yukon a couple months ago, but he was already too big when I tried to stuff him inside the stocking. D:

I don't know anyone with a baby. But good idea! How do you teach a dog to do a High five?

I would have to make the stocking for it to be big enough I have had him for 3 weeks now and he is getting huge.

I got some pictures of him today in the dishwasher when I was tying to clean the kitchen.

I'd imagine that high-five would be a lot like teaching them how to shake. Which would be done by holding a treat in your hand in front of them with your hand closed. Eventually they'll start to grab at your hand with their paw to get the treat, when they do that you reward them. Then add a verbal command like paw. After awhile you could probably start to gradually move your hand up when you say paw until you're in a High-Five position, then just change the command to "High-five" and gradually take away the treats.

I don't know if that's how you're supposed to do it though. However there's probably a ton of tutorial videos on Youtube is you wanted to try and look it up. :o

How about the washing machine (front load)? Never got the photo myself but I'd always leave the door open (after the wash to let it dry) and puppies would jump in and lay in there. It looked adorable Smile
Other than that I have seen people take photos of their human babies in cooking pots, washing baskets etc so I don't see any harm doing similar with your pup.
