| I've been feeding Maya, my husky, blue buffalo wilderness puppy for about a month now. Before that she was on BB freedom. I can't remember if her stool was firm on the freedom or not but now she is having soft stool on the wilderness.
My question is is it the higher protein cause the soft stool or is it something else in the food?
Thank you |

| How old is your pup and what is her weight? How much are you feeding her? Oftentimes soft stool can come from overfeeding! |

Thank you Since you started feeding BB Wilderness Puppy, did she ever have normal stool consistency? Or has it just recently started? When you switched her from Freedeom to Wilderness Puppy, how long did you take to make the transition? How old is she and how much are you currently feeding her? Soft stools can be caused by a couple of different things - changing food too fast, ingredient(s) in the new food that doesn't sit well in her tummy, and even over feeding. Can you give us a little more info? _________________ |

| She is almost 4 months old (will be four months on the 26th) and she weighs 26.1 pounds. I feed her 2 times a day with a total of 2 1/2 cups of food. I can't remember but I'm pretty sure she had regular stool on the freedom. When I went from the purina pro plan to freedom I pretty much did it cold turkey with no problems. So when I went to the wilderness I just mixed it all together.
She went to the vet yesterday and she has a parasite that my vet said is what's causing the soft stool. She is on medicine to get rid of the parasite and he said if the stool doesn't get better then it may be the diet. |

| My girl is 4 months as well and I recently had her on BBW puppy and it started giving her soft stool and really awful gas so I ended up changed her food especially with all the crap going on with BB and all the complaints. Since I have changed her to Wellness Core puppy which is also grain free, her stools are already starting to get back to normal! |
