| I ordered a crate that is 42" L x 28" W x 30" H. It does have a divider. Is this a good size crate for my new pup to grow into? |

| I think you'll be fine, that's the size that Ghost is in now as an adult and she's got plenty of room. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Thank you so much! I didn't want to pass it up, it has 2 doors, divider and was only $54 with free shipping. The UPS guy brought it this morning, I bet it weights 35-40lbs. I haven't taken it out of the box yet, hoping it's something that will last a while.

| We have the 42" and it works great. We've been using the divider while we were house-training Alki. He's close to 3 months now and we just took the divider out today. |

| I would like to buy another crate for Max we have a 24" for when he was smaller and he is now a year old, and his ears are starting to poke out the top. Our vet said he is not down growing and not to get another one until he stops growing he is currently 65 pounds and comes up to my hip ( I;m 4ft 11in) but I think sine its this small that is why he drools so much in it ( it is horrible when he does.) I was gonna get a 48" sized crate on ebay.com for a good deal. would this be to much room for him? |

| Really happy I saw this thread! I actually just made a similar purchase, $59.99 for a 42" 3 door. I am really happy to hear that that is a good size, I just kinda crossed my fingers and prayed. xD |

| I just purchased a crate per the recommendations above. Went off of Wag.com, gave me 15% off first purchase and free shipping. Got the Midwest 42x28x31.

I have a 48" and its a good size. My girl, Bailey, likes to lay down either curled up which leaves tons of room or all stretched out where she is touching both ends. We just bought another 48" for our puppy and are just using the divider and didn't want them to have different sized crates. They might have been fine in the 42" but weren't sure at the time when she was a puppy so we went big. They take up a lot of space, but I like that she has the room to stretch her legs out. Plus we use the top of the crate for out kitty's food so that it's out of puppy reach. This is her around 4 months old in her cage: |

How long did this crate end up lasting you? Do you remember what brand it was? It sounds similar to the one that I am going to get from Amazon. |

| The crate that Diablo currently has is about 23/24 inches tall. Sitting he is about 30 inches from floor to tip of his ears. Should I go with the largest size out there which is 33/34 inches tall? My understanding is that he should be able to fully stand and sit in the crate. Any help would be appreciated. |
