He was just too sweet looking in the first one I had to grab my camera. Lol. And yes! He just came over, barked at me, then slide down into the little birds and didn't move.

Thank you, Danielle. In most of these I was actually testing out my camera flash (attachment) and learning how to use it properly since it's been a long time. He makes a good model most of the time.

So beautiful! I LOVE that postcard shot (first pic). The colors are so warm and that light vintage-y wash makes everything so quaint (also why I love the Sept 6 hot tub series). And of course Mishka looks perfect!

I've been so horrible at keeping up with Mishka's scrapbook.

His 3rd birthday was Saturday! I baked him a cake and had a little photoshoot. Lol. I didn't really get him anything for his birthday because he has so much stuff already. Here's just a few of the photos I took Saturday. There are more on my FB but I've been lazy about resizing and stuff. lol.















So 3 years old and man how does the time fly. I remember going pick him up from the breeder and how he was smushed behind me in the car for a little while because he was understandably scared. He did so wonderful on the drive and despite the many ups and downs we've been through over the last few years, I love this little fluffbutt. I wish I could remember him as a tiny baby but I seriously cannot recall him ever being little. lol.

I should have stopped at two layers instead of three. It ended up being a little taller than I imagined. He only got to eat about a third before I took it away. Lol.

We went up to Little Rock, Arkansas in February for some hiking and to visit Olivia and fam. We went hiking at Pinnacle Mountain and then had a(n unsuccessful) dog park meet after.

















I stole these from Olivia since I was trying to get Mishka to go over the A-frame. He wasn't too interested. Lol.

I don't think I'd seen the birthday pictures before but the one where he has his eyes closed is definitely precious!

Nice looking country in the Ouchita area, looks like it made for a great hike. I can't picture trying to get either of mine to cross an A-frame!!

Last two pics are adorable Ashleigh, I love the way Mishka looks in those. First pic is beautiful! I really like the color of the water versus the starkness of the surroundings. Beautiful pics!!!

Thinking of you today, at the baby shower. One of Jess's friends is a butcher who grew up in New Orleans...we were talking about Josh's adventures helping snapping turtles across the road and the butcher told us he would have taken him home for dinner! Both he and Jess said turtle is delicious (boiled in salt water then breaded like chicken and fried?) Then the topic turned to crawfish...

Thank you, Al! It was absolutely gorgeous in LR. We want to move up there in the future. He didn't like going up the A-frame but he did it kinda twice and then was done. Lol.

Yeah, I made it a little too big. Lol. But he enjoyed it for a week so...

Haha. I never ate turtle before actually. Though my uncle has cooked it. We fry almost everything down here. It's kind of ridiculous. Oh man, don't get me on crawfish. I want some so bad! Supposed to have some next Friday though so hopefully I'll get my yearly fix.
