I really am not sure. He matured physically very fast. He's been the same weight, height, size for months now. So my hubby bought me a bike for Christmas! I wanted to get Mishka used to it today. I hooked my Walky Dog to the bike and was intending to just have Mishka walk along the bike, well he had other plans! He took off and pulled/ran around a block. I was quite proud that he picked it up so fast. So I'm glad to know my plans of bikejoring with him when he gets a little older will not be for nothing. I just have to work on distractions with him. He nearly killed me when he saw a lady walking her two schnauzers earlier. But it's also been since high school that I've ridden a bike, so I am not 100% comfortable on it yet. We will take baby steps though. I'm so excited! _________________   |

Lol, I know Lycus would have been done the same. I want to do bikejoring with him as well, but I want to to teach him the commands before I strap ourselves together lol. |

See, I've been working with him on our walks every day with commands. He knows them, but sometimes certain dogs will just set him off and all he wants to do is go see them and play. I'm hoping after some time he'll learn that biking is more of a work situation and he'll pay better attention. _________________ |

| He may always retain that puppish look to his face. I know a couple show dogs that are near the two year mark, but they still have a very puppy like look.  He is so pretty! |

| I love the row of four huskies at the meetup. It's a husky rainbow! Layla has the black halfmoons under her eyes that I hope don't go away or fade either. Makes her look so cute. BTW, you can tell Mishka I'm one of his biggest fans. He's one of the handsomest huskies I've ever seen! |

| Mishka caught his first opossum last night!  Thankfully(?) he didn't kill it but we couldn't kill it either because we had nothing to kill it with. -_- So the nasty little bugger finally ran off at some point. Here is a picture of Mishka and our little house guest Arthas playing in the back yard.  Puppy sitting definitely made me realize it's going to be a while before I get a second. Yikes, a possum! We have squirrels, deer, coyotes, skunks, foxes, snakes and groundhogs around us, but I haven't yet seen a possum slinking around. I'm just waiting for the day that Layla comes in with a half-dead "present," haha. Eep! |

| Ashleigh, I hear ya. After the first hour that we had Nikolai home, I was like ready to send him back and just realized that two was so overwhelming. Obviously, I wouldn't change anything now but it is a big adjustment to get used to as far as monitoring and watching them constantly.
Has he gone home now? |
